We need a different healthcare system, not just a better one (link to Medium post)

My thoughts:
Malay is always super insightful and this article makes the evidence-based case that, as Alex Drane says and I teach, in a wellness model “Health is life!” Health is lifestyle. So, the measure of success for any design experience is its impact on health outcomes. Further, as he shows, the problem of the existing system is the opportunity for innovative and empathetic companies to design the new life-based system.

“This looming shift (when consumers realize buying insurance is now distinctly separate from buying healthcare) has created an opportunity to establish new consumer relationships and access models for the expanding set of out of pocket categories.”
