In healthcare, reducing risks of infection or falls is table-stake criteria. Ellie goes further: research-based design to increase wellness and deliver better health outcomes.

Within necessarily harsher clinical environments, Its furniture that can contribute to shorter lengths of stay and improved health outcomes.
Also designed to provide dignity to patients and destigmatize the experience, human-centered features include a negatively inclined footrest, molded ergonomic hand grips and armrests that facilitate sit-to-stand dignity and safety. Ellie’s molded “embrace back” integrates passive lateral support, helping patients maintain an upright posture without visible lateral supports, further destigmatizing and preserving patient dignity while facilitating respiration and blood oxygenation.
